A practical course which provides delegates with the knowledge and skills to be able to instruct other staff in safe manual handling technique, and to carry out manual handling risk assessments effectively.

This 3 day course is aimed at training delegates in correct manual handling techniques.

• Manual Handling Operations Regulations
• Accidents and injuries from Manual Handling
• Anatomy of the back and physiology of lifting
• Proper lifting techniques
• Manual handling risk assessment
• Risk reduction and problem solving
• Manual handling training
• Training and presentation skills

Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance on successful completion of assessment.
